Partners: Volunteers in Research

Advancing Science, Saving Lives — Together

At DE ROTHSCHILD MEDICAL AND RESEARCH CENTRE (DRMRC), we recognize the extraordinary role of volunteers in shaping the future of medicine. Since our founding in 2012, more than 30,000 individuals from diverse backgrounds have participated in our research projects, including clinical trials, bio-material donation programs, observational studies, and wellness research.

These individuals are not just participants—they are partners in discovery, helping us unlock the next generation of life-saving treatments and biomedical solutions. Without their courage, trust, and commitment, many medical breakthroughs would not be possible.

Who Can Volunteer?

Volunteering with DRMRC is open to:

• Healthy individuals interested in contributing to scientific advancement
• Patients living with specific health conditions who qualify for clinical trials
• Individuals willing to donate samples (e.g., blood, plasma, tissue) for biomedical research
• Caregivers or family members assisting patients in eligible programs

No matter your age, background, or medical history, your participation could help improve healthcare outcomes for millions.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

• Phase I–IV Clinical Trials
• Genetic and Epidemiological Studies
• Bio-Sample Donations
• Product Testing and User Experience Studies
• Longitudinal Health Monitoring Programs

Our Volunteer Onboarding Process

We follow a transparent, ethical, and fully regulated onboarding procedure to ensure volunteer safety and informed participation:

1. Registration & Pre-Screening

• Complete a confidential health questionnaire to determine eligibility.

2. Medical Review & Consultation

• A licensed physician will review your profile and schedule a consultation.
• You’ll receive full disclosure about the research, its goals, and what to expect.

3. Informed Consent

• Before any procedure or trial begins, you will be guided through a formal informed consent process, ensuring that you fully understand your rights and responsibilities.

4. Participation

• Participation may include regular check-ups, sample collection, or use of test medications/devices under medical supervision.
• You may withdraw at any time—your safety and comfort come first.

5. Post-Study Follow-up

• We ensure ongoing health monitoring (when required) and access to trial results and feedback.
• Participants are also considered for future opportunities if interested.

Incentives & Volunteer Support

At DRMRC, we believe your contribution deserves recognition. Volunteers may receive:

• Financial compensation or reimbursement for travel, time, and participation
• Health screenings and consultations at no cost
• Early access to innovative treatments or therapies (where applicable)
